I like the fact that in this time we live in, you can&#039;t get away from using local apps.  So I guess Thunderbird can replace links for all the Google stuff meaning you can still have your local copy and only need to use the net for backup purposes...

I still don&#039;t think it&#039;s a viable option for the serious computer user...I had no internet for six and a half hours on the train at the weekend...That could have been six and a half hours of 0 usability out of a laptop...</description>
